“We’ve been sending Cody, our 1.5 yr old golden mix, to Dogwood for about a year now and couldn’t be happier with the staff and how much he seems to love it there! Every Friday morning, when we make the turn on to Tremont St, Cody hurdles our back seat in excitement to see his day care buddies. Friday nights and Saturday mornings, our family loves his calm and cuddly demeanor. A happy indeed!

We wholeheartedly recommend Dogwood and their caring staff! Knowing ‘doggie day care’ isn’t for every dog (our last dog was anxious), we’re happy Cody seems to be a fit and look forward to our fun Fridays!” – Bill Butler

“They are soooo great here!! My dog Molly gets insanely excited when she realizes where we are going in the car. It breaks my heart when she runs back and basically says BYE FELICIA but it’s a testament to how much she enjoys everyone who works here and playing with the other doggies. They’re so attentive and are always on the ball with her needs, feeding, etc. Thanks Dogwood for giving me the peace of mind whenever I have to leave my baby girl.”

“Happy helpful staff, very well organized and clean. I felt very comfortable leaving my two buddies there!!! Bruschi and Duke!! 🐾

“We’ve been sending our 2 year old to Dogwood since she was 16 weeks old, and we couldn’t be happier! The amount of care and love Winnie receives gives us such comfort and reassurance that she’s in the best hands while we’re at work. She starts wagging and wiggling with excitement as soon as we pull up to drop her off in the morning, and can’t wait to see her friends! And when we take her home, she’s usually so exhausted from playing all day that she’s perfectly content snuggling with her dad and I on the couch. And I love seeing the photos of our girl on Facebook and Instagram, she always looks so happy. We absolutely love Dogwood Cottage!”

“I am very happy to recommend Dogwood Cottage to anyone that wishes to board their dog. I find my dog is excited to go and excited to come home and shows no sign of being neglected by their staff. They are extremely accommodating to my needs.”

“Our pup has gone to daycare for years at Dogwood via their shuttle bus from Beacon Hill.  The staff is amazing, very attentive to the dogs and offer updates on their facebook page.  Our pup is always excited to ride the bus in the AM for daycare and always exhausted upon returning.  The owners clearly care about keeping the dogs happy and safe.”

“My husband and I LOVE Dogwood Cottage – but most importantly, our dog Reggie LOVE LOVE LOVES it.  🙂  In fact, we love it so much that we take him for occasional daycare and whenever we need boarding all the way up to Melrose from our home in Roxbury.”

“Dogwood is the best dog daycare & boarding business we’ve found. We live close by and my dog is always dragging me to their door which is the best evidence that they treat the dogs well. All the staff members love dogs and Heidi is clearly very experienced in all things canine. They are very well organized as well and billing is always accurate which I appreciate.

Now, they are often very busy and can be expensive for boarding but you get total peace of mind when you drop your dog off at Dogwood. Strongly recommended.”

“For the past year, Dogwood Cottage was my go-to place for my ancient yet spry little black Labrador, Miss Wade. Lindsey is amazing. You can tell that she cares for each and every one of the dogs that boards with her, and that’s exactly what you want when you’re trusting someone to take care of your pup. Wade LOVED Lindsey and was visibly happier and more relaxed after her time at Dogwood than she’d been at any other boarding facility over a lifetime of trying out different kennels. And Dogwood made things so easy by having super convenient drop off and pick up points in Beacon Hill–they’ll even drop off or pick up the dog right from your apartment. It was so great to come home from a trip and find a clean and happy dog waiting at home! The prices are more than fair for such a nice facility with such great amenities.”
